93829: PARTS KIT,IGNITION,.
DDS is the abbreviation for Digital Data Storage. Currently the most widely used back-up method, both for PC's and Network Servers, DDS evolved from DAT (Digital Audio Tape) and uses the same recording principle as home video recorders. DDS Technology is inherently superior to traditional magnetic tape products.
The use of helical scan recording method allows high recording densities and greatly reduces read/write error rates through triple error correction codes. Features: - Computer grade tape - Features Media Recognition System (MRS) for Data Application - DDS1 - 90 M 2/4 GB - DDS2 - 120 M 4/8 GB - DDS3 - 125 M 12/24 GB - DDS4 - 150 M 20/40 GB - DDS5 - 170 M 36/72 GB Helical scan format has many advantages for data recording. High track density results from advanced tracking techniques and mechanical precision.
Verbatim DDS data cartridges are perfect for IT managers of mid-range servers (2-40GB) using DDS drives. Typi This part is cataloged in the U.S. Government catalog under NSN 2925-00-708-4320, indicating validated use in U.S.
