60268: CABLE ASSEMBLY,SPECIAL PURPOSE,E.
Eight times a week! Eight 2.5" HDDs or SSDs fit into this enclosure and can be installed in 2x 5.25" bay in a PC, server or similar device. The enclosure is HotSwap capable, so the hard disks can be replaced without having to remove the enclosure.
Better safe than sorry The enclosure is made entirely of metal and the trays are provided with a lock that prevents accidental opening and unauthorized access. An LED also indicates operation and disk access for each storage medium. When it’s hot The aluminum dissipates heat very well and the cooling of the drives during heavy operation is ensured by two 50 mm fans on the back.
An alarm warns of fan failure. This part is cataloged in the U.S. Government catalog under NSN 6150-00-020-3148, indicating validated use in U.S.
government and defense logistics supply chains.
