Every second counts in an emergency. It’s therefore important that the emergency services get to the scene quickly. Whether on the road or from the air – with the Rescue set from siku, help will soon arrive because the rescuers are already on the way! The set consists of three vehicle models and various accessories.
A VW Beetle with the international “Ambulance” marking acts as the emergency doctor vehicle. It has red emergency service paintwork, and an emergency light bar on the roof. The vehicle’s doors can be opened.
The emergency doctor vehicle is quickly assisted by a rescue vehicle, a bright yellow Mercedes Sprinter with detailed multicoloured signal marking and green “Ambulance” lettering on its sides. A helicopter is also deployed for aerial support. Its rotor blades can be folded, and the rotor can be turned.
For securing the accident site, the set also contains two warning barriers and two orange/white cones. This part is cataloged in the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) under NSN 5950-00-034-0546, indicating validated use in U.S. government and defense logistics supply chains.
