PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Its bright orange-yellow eyes and long ear tufts easily identify the eagle owl. It has excellent hearing and can even hear the rustle of a mouse in the grass 100 metres away. Its face veil acts sort of like a satellite dish.

It directs the sound towards the ears. In addition, the owl can see very well, even at night when it's pitch dark. But because it cannot move its eyes, the eagle owl simply turns its head.

Its neck is so flexible that it can rotate it by 270 degrees. - Scientific Name : Bubo bubo - Conservation Status : Least concern [LC] - Primary Habitat : latin mountains, Nadelforest, lowlands, steppe, coastal area - Global Home : Europe, Asia, Northern Africa This part is cataloged in the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) under NSN 5940-00-329-5839, indicating validated use in U.S. government and defense logistics supply chains.
